Each day brings a new adventurous activity, and might push you beyond your comfort zone…

How can you take these experiences and apply them in your daily life?

During this week, we’ll take on the challenge together to support and encourage one another in following Jesus.


What insights do you need to follow Him? How can you make this concrete, and how can we live the life God intended for us?

He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing.

Day 1 saturday: welcome
You’ll be welcomed at 4:00 PM at Camping Cimarron in France. Over a cup of delicious coffee or tea, we’ll get to know each other and set up our camp. After dinner, we’ll talk about your hopes for the week and go over the program.
Day 2 sunday: gathering via ferrata
After a hearty breakfast, we’ll head into the mountains for a time of fellowship, worship, and teaching. Afterwards, we’ll tackle the via ferrata—an activity where you climb along rock faces, navigate steep passages, and take in breathtaking views. It’s an awesome combination of adventure, climbing, and a truly immersive experience!
dag 3, monday: white water kayaking
Experience the thrill of white-water kayaking! After a briefing on the equipment and practicing different techniques, we’ll paddle a section of the Durance River. This river offers plenty of action and adventure. You’ll navigate narrow passages, maneuver past rocks, and feel the power of the water. This activity is great for both beginners and experienced kayakers.
day 4-6: multi-day mountain hike
After the necessary preparations and packing our backpacks, we’ll set off for Névache, the village that marks the starting point of our 3-day mountain trek. The Vallée de la Clarée is perhaps one of the lesser-known ranges of the French Alps. Our trek will take us through the wild heart of this valley and the Cerces, home to wolves, mouflons, and ibex. The area is characterized by pristine nature, fresh mountain air, vast meadows, mirror-like mountain lakes, and rugged peaks.
day 7, friday: canyoning
The final activity day has arrived, and what an amazing way to wrap up the week! This day is packed with adventure and new challenges. Today, you’ll embark on an impressive journey through a narrow canyon. Dressed in a wetsuit, harness, and helmet, you’ll descend into the heart of the gorge. Abseiling, scrambling, and swimming. You’ll discover the hidden beauty of the canyon in a truly adventurous way. As tradition, we’ll end the day at the local pizzeria and enjoy our last evening in the French Alps!
day 8, saturday: back to home
After our last breakfast at basecamp, the adventure comes to an end, and everyone heads home.

The Écrins is a national park and a pristine mountain region in the French Alps. This area is known for its many hours of sunshine and its incredible opportunities for outdoor sports!

Location
The campsite is situated at an altitude of 1,000 meters, in a beautiful spot just outside Châteauroux-les-Alpes. This charming village lies near the Durance River and about 7 km from the largest reservoir, Lac de Serre-Ponçon.

Facilities
At the campsite, we have a great spot for our own basecamp. You can relax on the terrace or take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool.
